Alexis Dawn Moore

Alexis Dawn Moore, 28, of New Caney, Texas passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024, at M.D. Anderson in Houston, Texas. She was born in Baytown, Texas on May 12, 1995, to Kevin Sahr and Mary Rose Gonzalez.
Alexis was a young wife, and mother of three beautiful children. She was a music enthusiast, who loved to worship by singing and playing the piano. She led music ministry for several years. She was heavily involved in many other ministries including Spanish ministry, Sunday School, and Outreach. She was always looking for someone to encourage and loved being a friend to others. After the loss of her two baby girls, Alexis used that experience as a testimony to reach and minister to other grieving mothers. From a young age, she displayed a tenacious attitude and could do anything that she set her mind to do. She had many hobbies including sewing, cooking, painting, crafting, and perfecting her tortilla recipe. She was passionate about life and loved to be surrounded by family. She was quick-witted and loved cracking jokes. Her humor got her through life and helped her find the joy in every situation. Her dimpled smile and contagious laughter will forever live on in our hearts.
She is preceded in death by grandmothers, Mawmaw Bryant and Grandma Rosenda Herrera; daughters, Emmarie Rose Moore and Rosalie Anne Moore; and uncle, Earl Bryant Jr.
She is survived by her parents; husband, Chris Nathaneal Moore; son, Oliver Nathaneal Moore; daughters, Maia Edon Moore and Everly Reese Moore; sisters, Stephanie Buxton and spouse, Michelle Pitts and spouse, and Audrey Boggan and spouse; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving the family as pallbearers are Nicolas Pitts, Kendall Pitts, Nathan Hall, Darren Hall, Collin Bryant, and Garrett Bryant. Honorary pallbearer is Oliver Moore.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Porter Apostolic Pentecostal Church, Porter, Texas. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 22, 2024, officiated by Pastor Trey Buxton, Pastor Chris Moore, and Pastor Joel McCoy at Porter Apostolic Pentecostal Church, Porter, Texas. Interment to follow at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas.
