Carolyn Jo Love graciously departed this life on February 26, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on January 11, 1946, in Evadale, Texas. She lived a life deeply rooted in love, faith, and family and was a godly woman and prayer warrior to everyone in her life.

Carolyn expressed her love through many qualities, opening her heart, home and kitchen. She found joy in cooking, providing meals around the table for family and friends, sharing late-night snacks, and rolling the dough to her famous dumplings. She extended invitations for anyone needing a meal and good conversation, demonstrating her nurturing and caring nature and deep affection for her family. She celebrated unity in all aspects of family life.

Her commitment to her family extended way beyond cooking and the dinner table. Carolyn cherished each moment spent with her sons, Bobby Glen Love and wife Melissa, and Dean Love and wife Patti; she also took immense pride in her daughter, Tracie Lynn Williams and husband Robert.

Carolyn devoted herself wholeheartedly to her faith, attending church services as often as possible and connecting with church through online opportunities. Her love for church family was profound and unwavering radiating light of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who was the centerpiece of her blessed life. She inspired her family to love God and live in a way that reflected her teachings to them, leaving a legacy of faith echoing in the hearts of her children and grandchildren.

The memories shared about Carolyn are woven together with joy, love and warmth. From adventurous road trips to hours of heartfelt conversations, her loved ones continuously reminisce about the countless times she graced each and every thread of their lives, from rolling out dough with laughter, praying, uplifting those around her, and her greatest passion and joy – reading the Bible, where she found strength, peace and unwavering faith.

Carolyn Jo Love is leaving her legacy to her survivors, her sons, Bobby Glen Love and wife Melissa, and Dean Love and wife Patti, her daughter, Tracie Lynn Williams and husband Robert; her grandchildren, who included Laci Turner and husband Michael, Joshua Love and wife Courtney, Whitney Laffoon and husband Jordan, Kelsie Moranec and husband Chris, Sarah Wortham, Kaylee Wortham, Chris William and wife Lauren, Dylan Williams and wife Joanna, Austin Williams, Grant Joseph Love and wife Jessica, Aaron James Stuart and wife Brooke, Natalie Brooke Bodin and husband Anthony, Ethan Lamar Love; 23 great-grandchildren; In-laws who included Phil Larue Love and wife Rhonda, Carolyn Sue Burrous and husband Tommy, Yvette Love, Tony Ray Love and wife Melinda, Jerry Don Love and wife Joyce, Kathy Moss, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carolyn joins the loving embrace of those who preceded her, including her parents, John Moss and Mittie Estell Whitmire Moss; her devoted and loving husband John Melvin Love; her brothers Mark Moss, Curtis Moss, and Douglas Moss; her sister Kathy Blackburn; her father-in-law and mother-in-law Joe Love and Noble Daisy Dryden Love, in-laws Robert Terry Love, Jimmy Dewayne Love, N. J. “Pickle” Love and wife Patsy, and Bobby Joe Love.

Visitation services will be held for Carolyn on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Centerpoint Church in Liberty, Texas, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 3:00 p.m. with her son Dean Love officiating. She will be laid to rest at Votaw Cemetery following the service.

Honoring Carolyn as pallbearers are Kalvin Sherman, Justin Sherman, Nathan Nelson, Scotty Hughes, and Billy Marcontell. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Turner and Larry Murphy.

In the heart of her family and friends, Carolyn Jo Love will forever remain alive in spirit and loved and cherished. The memories and love she gifted to all will serve as a testament to a life beautifully lived, showcasing the fullness of her spirit and the depths of her heart.
