Chas Alan Davis

Chas Alan Davis (aka Charles Davis), 53, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Hardin, Texas. He was born on October 7, 1969 in Houston, TX to Tina Daugherty and Glenn Davis. Charles attended Brenham High School and later went on to study at University of Texas and Columbia University. He worked in the software industry for over 30 years, including at IBM, Clear Commerce, NetIQ, and Tidal. He eventually found his home at Full Armor Corp. where he was the VP of Engineering and Chief Architect for 15 years. His innovative ideas resulted in 7 U.S. patents.

Charles was a brilliant man with a huge heart who had many interests, but he enjoyed nothing more than solving problems. Charles excelled in everything he took an interest in, but his true passions were security software, BMX, and taking care of those he loved. When the weather was nice, he could be found outside grilling, mowing, and working on various DIY house projects. He especially enjoyed travelling the country supporting his son, Jordan, in BMX and spending time with his wife and best friend, Traci.

Survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Traci Davis; son, Jordan Davis; daughter Sydney Davis; mother, Tina Daugherty; father, Glenn Davis; brother, Sam Daugherty; sister, Caroline; mother-in-law, Kim Black; grandmother-in-law, Rosemary Newman; and brother-in-law, Richard Black.

Preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Landreth.
