David Irvan Page, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, peacefully departed this life on June 5, 2025, in Batson, Texas. Born on December 15, 1948, in Houston, Texas, David grew to embody the essence of a devoted family man, cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
David's journey began in Pasadena, where he graduated from Pasadena High School in the class of 1967. Shortly thereafter, he honorably served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1970, showcasing the same dedication and commitment that would later define his personal and professional life. Following his service, David embarked on a rewarding career with VAM USA, where he dedicated 32 years before he retired, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and integrity.
Throughout his life, David reveled in the outdoors, finding joy in fishing and cultivating his yard. His immense love for nature mirrored the deep love he held for his family, whom he regarded as his greatest treasures. Known as the rock of the family, he was an anchor of strength and support, always ready to lend an ear or offer advice. David's warmth, kind spirit, and unwavering loyalty made him not only a beloved husband to his sweetheart and wife, Linda DiAnne Page, for 57 wonderful years but also a profound influence in the lives of his daughters, Toni DiAnne Arpin of Batson, Texas, Sonya Renee Matthews of Rutland, Massachusetts, and Linnie Marie Page of Batson, Texas.
David's legacy extends even further through his adored grandchildren: Katie and her husband Ryan Bowman, Aaron and his wife Kyla Snead, Tyler Snead, and Walker Page. The love he shared with them will continue to inspire all, especially as it flourishes in the laughter and joy of his great-grandchildren—Lincoln, Presley, Lily, and Madison, along with Kolter, Stetson, Audrey, and Miley.
He is also survived by his siblings, Susan and her husband Dale Junghans of Navasota, Texas, and Sherrie Winkle of Livingston, Texas, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends whose lives he touched with his kindness and genuine spirit.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Irvan Page and Pearl Grace Page, his sister Dianna Taylor, and his son-in-law Bernard Arpin. While they will forever hold their memories in their hearts, those who remain are left with the profound understanding of the love and joy he brought into their lives.
A viewing will be held on June 8, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Faith & Family Funeral Services in Batson, Texas. David's life will be celebrated during a graveside service at Jordan Cemetery on June 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
Honoring as pallbearers are Aaron Snead, Tyler Snead, Walker Page and John David Winkle, Daryl Rainer and Brett Rainer
As we remember David Irvan Page, we honor a man whose love knew no bounds and whose life will continue to shine brightly through the generations of family he cherished. His spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved him, serving as a reminder of the strength of family and the power of love.
