David Henry Schexnaider
David Henry Schexnaider, 54 of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020, in Humble. He was born May 25, 1965, in Victoria, to Lorris Schexnaider and Ethel Phillips.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Schexnaider,nephew, Kevin Veronie and his grandparents.
Those left to cherish his memory are wife Dawn Schexnaider of Moss Hill. Parents, Lorris and Ethel Schexnaider of Lafayette; son Cody Schexnaider and wife Lindsey of Kingwood; daughter, Courtney Schexnaider of Houston; step-daughter, Ashley Fenton of Moss Hill. Sister, Cheryl Veronie and husband Ronald of Maurice, LA; nieces, Nicole Bourque and husband Cory of Abbeville, LA; Rachel Hebert of Lafayette. Grandchildren, Braydee Schexnaider and Brett Schexnaider, and numerous great nephews, and nieces and a host of loving friends,
David loved the outdoors especially fishing, hunting and cooking crawfish and sitting on his front porch. He also loved spending time with his dog Rusty, and most of all his grandchildren. He was a big fan of LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Muscular Dystrophy, and Fisher House Foundation.
Cremation under the care of Faith & Family Funeral Services.
