A Life Remembered

Obituary

Jeffery Wayne “Jeff” Faughn, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on July 7, 2026, in The Woodlands, Texas, just days before his 62nd birthday. He was born on July 11, 1964, in Pasadena, Texas.

Jeff was a man who truly embraced life and the people he loved. His grandchildren, Jaxson Dewayne Starke and Brea Nicole Starke, were the light of his life, and he treasured every moment spent as their PaPa. He found joy in the simple things, casting a line while fishing, listening to old country music, and dancing with the love of his life, Susan, always hoping for one more dance. A true jack of all trades, Jeff enjoyed tinkering, fixing things, and lending a helping hand whenever someone was in need.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 39 years, Susan Faughn; his son, Brandon Jeffery Faughn and wife Melissa; and his daughter, Amanda Nichole Faughn. He is also survived by his brother, Don Faughn; his sisters, Barbara Ann Faughn and spouse Debbie Hoffart, Debbie Driehs and husband Steve, and Nettie Ruth Carmouche and husband Gary; his sister-in-law, Becky Price and husband Gary; his cherished grandchildren, Jaxson Dewayne Starke and Brea Nicole Starke; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Malcolm Hughes Faughn, Jr.; his mother, Bernice Lucille Mays Faughn; his sister, Carolyn Sue Trimble; his brother-in-law, Jim Trimble; and his sister-in-law, Ellen Faughn.

Honoring Jeff as pallbearers are Steve Driehs, Gary Price, Gary Carmouche, Mark Longrigg, Shawn McHone, and Joseph Cambiaso. Honorary pallbearers are Jaxson Starke and Brandon Faughn.

His suffering has ended, he is now with his mom, dad, uncles, aunts, Grand parents, and the others who have gone before him. He wants the one's he left behind to take their time before coming to be with him because they have forever to catch up. This gives him time to fish with his dad and his uncles and the others.
