Jerrod David Robinson

Jerrod David Robinson, 44, of Sour Lake, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont surrounded by his loving family. Jerrod was born March 6, 1975, to Franklin Helston Robinson and Phyllis Winegeart in Beaumont, TX.

Jerrod lived in the Sour Lake area most of his life where he worked construction in the local plants. He was such a huge fan of Batman that his grandchildren called him "BatPaw". He enjoyed drawing in his free time, but above that, Jerrod, was a family man and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Jerrod's favorite scripture to read and quote during hard times John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Jerrod is preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Phillip and Eva Mae Winegeart; brother, Franklin Helston Robinson Jr; and father-in-law, Charles Edward Frazier.

Those left to cherish his memory is his wife, Connie Robinson of Sour Lake; mother and daddy, Phyllis and Michael Rhodes of Sour Lake; daughters, Jasmine Robinson of Sour Lake, and Lydia Stanley and fiance' Earl Wolford of Sour Lake; brothers, Joshua Keith Dinet and wife Layselinn of Beaumont, Jeremiah Jacob Dinet and wife Shannon of Sour Lake, and Preston Williford of Arkansas; sister, Callye Windsor and husband David of Sour Lake; grandchildren, Breena, Jaelin, Shaela, Jerrod, Alexis, Taylor, Karlie, and Charles; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of loving family and friends.

A service of remembrance will be held at a later date.
