Jimmie Rodgers Perkins

Jimmie Rodgers Perkins, 55, of Liberty, TX passed away Friday, April 2, 2021, at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX. Mr. Perkins was born December 29, 1965, in Liberty, TX to Rufus Ernest Ray Perkins and Virginia Cora Nugent. He worked in the oilfield for Quail Creek. He loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed music, to party, and was a kid at heart. Mr. Perkins was a faithful servant and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Perkins is preceded in death by his father, Rufus Ernest Ray Perkins, and brother, Samuel Edwards Perkins and William Ernest Perkins. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Virginia Cora Nugent; sons, Jimmie Lee Perkins and Samuel Ray Perkins; daughter, Amanda Ruth Swanson and husband Eddie; brother, Kenneth Perkins; sisters, Virginia Mae Smith, and husband, Evelyn Brents Rita Sanders and husband, Rocky and Patsy Alford; grandchildren, Peyton, Korbyn, Braydyn, Trinity, Raylee, Elaina, Emily, Samuel, Landon, and Karslynne; stepchildren, Krista, Dustin, James, and Brian and a host of loving family and friends.
