Joyce Jeanette Sellers

Joyce Cryer Sellers, of Cleveland, TX, went to be with the Lord on November 18th, 2025, at the age of 73. She was a Christian woman who loved her family with all of her heart and cherished every moment she shared with them.

Though she was a tiny woman, she faced every problem like she was ten feet tall and bulletproof. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. You could usually find her with a Coke in her hand, listening to her favorite oldies, or sharing one of her unforgettable life stories. She loved to travel and go on vacations with her kids and grandkids, creating memories that will be treasured forever. She opened her door to many, welcoming and raising children who weren’t her own with the same love and devotion she gave her family. Her love for Jesus guided her and shaped the kindness she showed to everyone.

She is survived by her son, Robert Scott Sellers; daughter, Brandy Marie Sellers; brother, Larry Cryer and wife Deanna; sister, Judy Hamilton; daughter-in-laws, Janell Sellers and Carol Rives; grandchildren, Cordrey Sellers, Brian Sellers, Josh Sellers, Jared Sellers, Rodney Sellers, Jr., Ethan Sellers, Jaxon Bright, and Joseph Bright; great grandchildren, Hailey Watts, Laken Sellers and Aleyah Sellers; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, between 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Faith and Family Funeral Services in Batson, Texas. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 12:00 pm at Ferrell Cemetery in Colmesneil, Texas with Pastor Carlton Bailey officiating.

Joyce is preceded in death by her father, Plummer Jefferson Cryer and mother, Bessie Marie Cowart Cryer; husband, Robert Logan Sellers; son, Rodney Logan Sellers; and sister, Janice Sue Allen and Carolyn Gilchriest; brothers-in-laws, Glen Hamilton and Tony Allen.

Honoring Joyce as pallbearers are Cordrey Sellers, Brian Sellers, Josh Sellers, Jared Sellers, Rodney Sellers, Jr., and Mike Sellers. Honorary pallbearers are Jaxon Bright, Ethan Sellers, Laken Sellers, and Joseph Bright.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who loved her.
