Katherine Louise Brooks

Katherine Louise Brooks, 92,our beloved mother and grandmother, was reunited with her husband on Friday September 9, 2022, in Beaumont Texas. She was born April 22, 1930 in Paris Texas.


She had lived in Houston for 50 years before moving to Thicket, where she had lived for 20 years. She was a homemaker and was a member of Thicket Church of God for many years.


Survivors are her daughters, Patricia Moore and husband Rodger of Thicket; Cathy Winkle of Shepherd TX. Grandchildren, Kathlyn Campbell and husband Brent, Kay Marcontell and husband Billy, Bill Fulkerson and wife Angela, Ricky Flournoy and wife Alana, Jay Moore, James Dean Moore and wife Angie. Great - grandchildren Cody, and wife Payton, Tiffany and husband Josh, Cross, Rylyn, Kyndall, Coleman, Cameron and wife Taylor, Austin, Kaytlynn, Kylee, Jordan, Wyatt and wife Kaylee, Brandin and wife Sierra, and Hailey. Great great grandchildren, Remi, Brinley, Madison, Paisley, McKinley, James, and more on the way..


A service of remembrance will be held on Sunday September 11, 2022, at 3:00P.M. at Thicket Church of God with Pastor Mark Ainsworth officiating. Interment will follow at Felps cemetery in Thicket. Serving as pallbearers are Brent Campbell, Cross Campbell, James Dean Moore, Jay Moore, Cody Marcontell, Billy Marcontell. Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Flournoy and Bill Fulkerson.


A gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday September 11, 2022, from 2:00P.M. until 3:00P.M. at Thicket Church of God.
