Linda Joyce Crider

Linda Joyce Crider, a cherished soul whose warmth and kindness touched many hearts, departed this earthly realm on September 27, 2025, at the age of 75, in Beaumont, Texas. Born on September 18, 1950, Linda lived a life filled with love, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to uplifting those around her.

As a devoted florist, Linda brought beauty into the world through her artistry, crafting stunning arrangements that brought joy to countless occasions. Her talent for infusing life into flowers was matched only by her sweet and gentle spirit, which endeared everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. Linda's willingness to lend a helping hand, no matter the situation, exemplified her generous nature and made her an irreplaceable presence in her community.

Outside of her career, Linda found solace and joy in the kitchen, delighting friends and family with her beloved specialty dishes, particularly her renowned candied yams and comforting chicken and dumplings. Each meal was a testament to her love for cooking and her ability to create an atmosphere of togetherness and warmth. An avid reader and poet, she delighted in weaving words into beautiful verses that spoke of her experiences, emotions, and the world around her, sharing glimpses of her insightful soul.

Linda is survived by her significant other, Bris Crider, who stood by her side through thick and thin, offering steadfast love and support. Her son, Chris Wilder, her brother, Kirk Hoffpauir, and sister, Susan Kaschler, carry forward her legacy of sweetness and generosity, while her niece, Joli Crider, will forever treasure the memories of her beloved aunt. Special friends Janice and James May, Debbie Doo, and Mike Monroe, undoubtedly share in the deep bond they formed with Linda, celebrating her life and the precious moments they spent together.

Though Linda’s beloved parents have preceded her in death, her spirit will undoubtedly continue to flourish in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those who were touched by her extraordinary kindness. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, we remember the light she brought into our lives and the many ways she made this world a better place.
