Nana Lea Young

Nana Lea Young of Daisetta, died on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at Magnolia Place Health Care in Liberty. She was 84.

A native of Liberty, she had lived in Daisetta most of her life and had worked as a Nursing Assistant at Magnolia Place Health Care of Liberty.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herman Young. Brothers, Samuel Whitmire, James Taylor, and sister, Emma Taylor. She is survived by her son, Howard Young and wife Brenda of Daisetta. Daughter, Elizabeth Davidson of Hull, and sister, Ethel Cook of Liberty. Grandchildren, Shelly Fregia and husband Wes of Liberty, Wesley P. Davidson of Mont.Belvieu, Brandice Smith of Cleveland, Torrie Smith of Daisetta, and great grandchild, Acelyn Fregia of Liberty.

A service of remembrance will be held on Friday August 25, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services with Reverend Lamar Shane officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson.

The family will be receiving friends on Thursday August 24, 2017 from 5:00P.M. until 8:00P.M. at Faith & Family.

Serving as pallbearers are Cecil Taylor, Trad Taylor, Wesley P. Davidson, Clayton Taylor, Aaron Taylor, and Ryan Taylor.
