Philip Chase Miller

April 25, 1987 — July 11, 2025

Batson, Texas

Philip Chase Miller, born on April 25, 1987, in Beaumont, Texas, was a radiant beacon of hope and love in the lives of many. He passed away on July 11, 2025, in Batson, Texas, leaving behind a legacy that will forever illuminate the hearts of those who knew him.

As an evangelist since 2019, Philip dedicated his life to helping others, particularly working with the Men's Refuge at Calvary Tabernacle. His commitment to guiding those in need stemmed from a profound compassion for the underdog and a sincere desire to share the love of Jesus Christ. Philip’s biggest heart and kindest soul coupled with his unwavering faith enabled him to touch countless lives. He was someone who never held a grudge and always chose forgiveness, a quality that endeared him to so many. Philip was not only known for his uplifting spirit but also for his generous nature; there are fond memories of him coming home barefoot after giving away his socks, a testament to his selflessness.

Philip enjoyed pursuing hobbies that brought him closer to God and nature. He loved fishing and hunting, and every moment spent in creation was another chance to experience the beauty of life. Yet beyond these passions, it was his ministry, particularly his work with people struggling with addiction, that formed the core of his purpose. His determination to never give up on those in need and his passion for preaching brought hope to many, proving that Philip was indeed a friend like no other.

His family, who stood as his strongest support, included his beloved wife Kristina Miller and his cherished daughter, MaKena Miller. Additionally, he is survived by his parents, Aaron Dale Miller and Kelly Sue Vanya Miller, his brother Benjamin Zane Miller, his niece Opal Rosemary Miller, his grandmother Sue Janice Vanya, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Together they formed a circle of love that always revolved around Philip's warmth and compassion.

Philip is preceded in death by his grandparents Raymond Leroy Vanya, Leonard L. Loftin, and Joy Loftin. In his passing, the world has lost a truly sincere and loving soul who lived his life with purpose and passion, leaving behind a legacy of love, generosity, and unwavering faith.
