Roger Dale Cox

Roger Dale Cox, 68, of Liberty, Texas passed away Friday, November 13, 2020, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Cox was born on July 11, 1952, to the late Charles Melvin Cox and Hazel Mae Hamm in Dallas, Texas. He was a retired truck driver for Farris Trucking. Mr. Cox enjoyed starting out his day drinking coffee out on the porch with his dog. He loved the outdoors and fishing. He loved watching his favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros, and the Texas Longhorns. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Mr. Cox is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Melvin Cox; sister, Darlene Bean, and granddaughters, Makayla Trove, and Caroline Ava Joy Cox.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Rodney Cox and wife Kimberly of Mathis, TX; Roderick Cox and wife Leah of Hardin. Daughter, Diana Trove of Daisetta. sister, Lechia Evans of Liberty, Texas. grandchildren, Madalyn, Logan, Landon, Nicholas, Villa, Bayly, Kyrstyn and husband Colton, numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and a host of friends.

A graveside service of remembrance will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020, at 10:00 am at Oakdale Cemetery in Daisetta, Texas with Reverend James Burchfield officiating.

Honoring Mr. Cox as pallbearers are Logan Cox, Steven Ford, Dakota Ford, Dusty Evans Jeremy Rawlinson, and Slayd Ford.

Honorary pallbearers are Landon Cox, Nicholas Cox, Seely Ford, Joshua Jennings.Joshua.
