Sebastian Kane Bott, a vibrant and free-spirited soul, passed away on May 19, 2025, in Liberty, Texas. Born on March 20, 1996, in Baytown, Texas, Sebastian’s life was a tapestry woven with love, hard work, and a deep commitment to his family and community.
Sebastian was a dedicated pipefitter and enjoyed serving as a correctional officer at Jasper Prison for one year. His work was not just a job to him; it was a calling driven by a desire to help others. He had a warm heart and was known for his nurturing spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand. His unwavering faith as a child of God colored the way he approached life and the people around him.
A proud father, Sebastian's greatest joy was his daughter, Harlyn Elizabeth Bott, who brought light into his world. The bond they shared was unbreakable, filled with precious memories and moments of laughter that will forever be cherished.
Sebastian enjoyed doing anything outdoors. His passion for shooting guns, skillfully reaching a level 4 tactical proficiency, showcased his adventurous spirit. He looked forward to Sundays spent in church with his mother, Kelley Denise Brown, and embraced the connections he made in his community.
He leaves behind a loving family: his mother Kelley Denise Brown and husband Kevin; his father, John Gabriel Bott; his daughter, Harlyn Elizabeth Bott: the mother of his child, Destiny Aisenbrey; his brothers, Quincey Gabriel Bott, Romeo Jeovanni Bott, Caleb Ian Downs, Chris Brown, and Brian Anderson; and his best friend, Kymbal Fregia. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Bubba and Tonya Bott, Dani and Dade Fontenot, and Joshua Young, as well as his nieces, Giavonna Bott, Emma Rose Downs, and Natalie Lorraine Downs, along with numerous cousins, family and friends who will carry his memory with them.
Sebastian's life is now mourned by those who loved him deeply. He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Pearl and Harlon Dowdell, Glenda and Bobby Vines, Mitchell Young, Martha Gale and Francis Bott Sr., and great-grandparent Luther Simon. He is also reunited in spirit with his brother, Cameron Revia.
As we reflect on the life of Sebastian Kane Bott, we remember a man who embodied the essence of a free spirit, a hard worker, a devoted father, and a friend to many. His legacy of kindness, dedication, and love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. Sebastian may have departed from this world, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all those he touched.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Faith and Family Funeral Services, Batson, Texas. Funeral services will commence at 2:00pm on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Faith and Family Funeral Services, Batson, Texas. Interment to follow at Moss Hill Cemetery, Moss Hill, Texas.
