Timothy Lee Thrasher, known fondly to many as Uncle T, Dae, and Bo Dinker, departed from this world on June 23, 2025, in Batson, Texas. Born on September 25, 1960, in Cleveland, Texas, he was a vibrant spirit who embraced life with an open heart and an infectious joy that made those around him feel treasured and loved.
Tim was a dedicated millwright by trade, a craftsman whose hands created with precision and care. However, more than his career, it was his sparkling personality that marked his legacy. He was the life of the party—known for his free-spirited nature and his heart of gold. Stubborn and a perfectionist, he navigated life with unwavering determination, often with a mantra of “his way or no way.” A man who never knew the meaning of quitting, Tim exemplified resilience and passion at every turn.
His zest for life was evident in all he did. He had a deep affection for his beloved fur babies, RBJ, Sandie, and Lillie, who were as cherished to him as family. His love extended generously to his nieces and nephews, whom he adored, ensuring they felt his warmth and support in every grand adventure. Whether it was dancing, building pine knot fires out in the woods, camping, and fishing, or savoring fried chicken with his friends and family, Tim found magic in the simplest moments of life.
A rebel at heart, he had a need for speed—often disregarding speed limits and traffic laws, preferring the thrill of the ride. His adventurous spirit made him a beloved figure among those who knew him, inspiring laughter and joy in countless stories shared over the years.
Tim leaves behind a loving family who will hold his memory close. He was married to his devoted wife Sheila Thrasher for 42 wonderful years. He is survived by his brothers, Tony "Bones" Thrasher and wife Peggy, Tracy Thrasher and wife Greta, and Trent Thrasher and wife Lisa, as well as his sister Talisa Christensen and husband Dean. He treasured his Godsons Colby Crawford, Joshua Hughes, Richard Lannom, his Goddaughter Nicole Bond, and his sisters-in-law Donna Hanks and husband Alton and Courtnie Stout. His mother-in-law, Jeannette Wynne, will carry his spirit in her heart. The multitude of nieces and nephews he loved dearly will remember his playful spirit and joyful laughter, while his fur babies will forever miss his gentle presence.
Tim joins his parents, Elijah Luke Thrasher, Flora Adeline Brewer, and his little sister Telena Thrasher in eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of love that will echo through the lives he touched.
Serving the family as pallbearers are Kelby Hanks, Mason Hanks, Zachary Hanks, Jacob Johnston, Eli “Big E” Thrasher. Honorary pallbearer Colby Crawford.
